Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information UmetMe collects, why, who we share it with and how you can reach us about it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Who we are
UmetMe is operated by TabTerminal in Sydney, Australia. For anything about your personal information, email contact@tabterminal.com.
What we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, an email address or phone number, and anything you choose to add: your message, what you're asking about, and how you heard about us. We also note which language version of the site you used. Please don't send sensitive information (such as health or financial details) through the form.
QR codes
Ads on our screens can carry a QR code. When someone scans one, our link service records the scan (when it happened, which screen and ad it came from, and basic technical details such as the type of device) so we can count scans for the advertiser. We use this to report totals; we don't use it to identify you.
Website data
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about advertising with us or hosting a screen. We may use the "how did you hear about us" answers, in total, to understand which channels work. We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and handle enquiries: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Discord (an internal notification copy of each enquiry). They process information on our behalf and may store it outside Australia, including in the United States. We don't otherwise share your information unless the law requires it.
Storage and retention
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and for our ordinary business records, then delete them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@tabterminal.com. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll respond. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
